Models Direct Reviews - From our Child Models

More reviews:

Archie, Reference: B201106

This was Archie's first modelling assignment, and he really enjoyed it.  He enjoyed playing with the Kit for Kids toys and equipment, and really had a lot of fun, and would definitely like to do it again!

The guys at Kit for Kids were really friendly and welcoming.  Sharon was really nice, and made a point of talking to Archie.  The photographer was also great. Archie was required to play and use the equipment and engage with it, which he really excelled at.  The guys at Kit for Kids were really pleased with Archie's pictures and how easy he was to direct/photograph.

I would have no hesitation in taking Archie back to Kit for Kids for another shoot, and would therefore have no hesitation in taking his brother Freddie or recommending them to others. They ensured that there were plenty of food and drinks which was great for both the children and parents.

We were really pleased with the interaction with Molly at Talent Management, she gave lots of information and fully explained how to obtain the performance license etc.  I would definitely recommend signing up with Talent Management as they will put you forward for exciting jobs, as well as provide you with all relevant information and advice if needed.  The only thing that we need to improve upon is updating Archie's e-portfolio, so that he can appeal to more campaigns.

Fred, Reference: Z652393

We had a great day at Fred's first assignment with Kit For Kids.  Fred was quite happy to play with the toys and have his photo taken.  We were made to feel at ease and the photographer was very good at getting the models to do what he needed for each shot.  Fred didn't seem nervous at all and soon got into the swing of things.

I would definitely recommend joining up with Talent Management if you are interested in your child getting into the modelling industry.  We have only been registered with Talent Management for a month and already completed our first assignment.  We look forward to our next shoot.

Summer, Reference: C158626

Summer was excited when I explained to her that she was going to be taking part in a photo shoot - as well as playing with toys and meeting other children.  On her assignment with Kit for Kids, my daughter was required to have her photograph taken while playing with educational equipment and two other children.  I learnt from the experience that 2 year olds are perhaps a little too young to follow instructions on modelling assignments, however the photographer and Sharon were very understanding of this and at all times put the children's needs first.  I chose to sign Summer up to Talent Management to gain experience on photo shoots, and would be happy for her to take part in more in the future if she wishes to do so.

Maddie, Reference: B201210

Maddie seemed to really enjoy herself and worked really well with the other models. She was asked to play with various pieces of children's educational equipment. Throughout the shoot Maddie grew with confidence and soon played up to her role in front of the camera.

I would recommend others to register their children with Talent Management as opportunities like this can really help with their confidence in the future. This was Maddie's first job and without the Talent Management this would not of happened.  Both Maddie and myself are extremely excited for her next one!

Theo, Reference: BB545051

My son Theo absolutely loved his modelling assignment through Talent Management. The assignment was relaxed and focused on Theo having an enjoyable experience in order to produce the natural looking photographs for Kit for Kids. Theo was asked to be himself (playful!) and props were provided, such as building blocks and education equipment.  All Theo has to do was play and smile!  Prior to the shoot, Theo was really excited and when he arrived he was greeted by friendly people who understood how to interact with toddlers and instantly Theo felt at home and comfortable.

Talent Management were very helpful and ensured all the required information was sent well in advance and answered any questions I had.  Talent Management lived up to it's reputation as being a great agency that finds jobs suited to their models' needs and that is why I signed Theo up in the first place. His first assignment has been a real success and boosted his confidence in being in the spotlight and looks forward to more modelling adventures!
I would certainly recommend Talent Management for any one looking to go into the industry. They match jobs to the right talent perfectly and have a very professional and friendly service.  Theo was dealing with Molly who has been very helpful in answering any questions.

Lorestelle, Reference: B201202

Lorestelle had so much fun on her first ever shoot!  Although it was her first time and she may not have been as used to it as the other child models, I think she did brilliantly.  Lorestelle took part in a educational photo shoot, and she really enjoyed all the tasks that she was assigned, even if she completed them before the photographer could get a picture!  Lorestelle came out of the shoot with a beaming smile and I could tell she has a real taste for it now. I am so pleased that we were given this opportunity by Talent Management, and I hope there will be more modelling work for Lorestelle in the future.

Tobin, Reference: B201104

Tobin had a great time with the guys from Kit for Kids.  He played with their toys, and also enjoyed trying out their range of seating whilst reading books.  We were made to feel very comfortable and the photographer was great with Tobin, encouraging him to smile, laugh, and play.

Tobin's nursery already uses Kit for Kids equipment, so it is great to think that they may see his pictures in future catalogs!

Thank you Kit for Kids for making Tobin's studio experience an enjoyable one, and thank you to Molly at Talent Management for her friendly and professional communication from start to finish.

Ava, Reference: B201204

Ava and I felt very comfortable at today's photo shoot with Kit for Kids.  It was a chilled out day with no stress at all.  I would definitely recommend Talent Management to others.

Logan, Reference: B201202291657089712

Logan started off feeling 'unnaturally' shy until he noticed all the toys he could play with while modeling. In fact, he became so confident that he started ordering the girls around - who were participating in the photoshoot with him!  He had so much fun playing with new toys and sitting on colourful carpets with his new friends while photos were being taken of them. His favourite activity had to be jumping on different coloured mats and then pretending to sleep on them - his favourite colour mat was green :) We definitely hope to do this again - it was so much fun for Logan and he even got to earn some pocket money!

I think joining an agency is a very good idea because I don't believe we would have found this wonderful opportunity without the help of Talent Management. All in all, a wonderful morning was had by all of us.

Nicole, Reference: BQ590088

Nicole loved her assignment with Kit for Kids!  It was quite a long drive but we found the venue without any problems. Nicole had fun playing with the products and with the other children.  She was asked to play with the kit to display the use of the products.  She followed all instructions very well and was happy throughout her time there.

As a parent, I really enjoyed the day and would like Nicole to take part in another assignment very soon.  I ensure Nicole's e-portfolio is up to date at all times, so as to increase her chances of getting work.  I signed Nicole up with Talent Management so she can get some experience in the industry and of course some professional pictures

Jody for Neah, aged 3, Reference: R591440

PLAYING WITH BRICKS

Neah was very excited to be a model today for ‘Kit For Kids’. She was comfortable with her surroundings, had a lot of fun and wanted to go back to do it all over again!

She was asked to simply play with the toys and interact with the other child models from Talent Management on this modelling assignment. The setting was very much like her preschool so playing with bricks, reading and interacting with the other children was very natural to her.

I do think this experience has given Neah more confidence in front of the camera and I would certainly recommend the experience to other parents. It was a very relaxed setting and the company did not expect too much from such young children, they just wanted her to be herself so there was no pressure on her.

The staff were great with the children, very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend Talent Management but would advise others to be pro-active with updating their portfolio to help obtain work. Talent Management have been fantastic providing all the information required and Molly is always on the end of the phone to help with anything. I want Neah to have fun modelling and get put forward for lots of opportunities so I chose to register her with Talent Management due to the good reviews.

Belinda for Kyle, aged 8, Reference: P612066

LOVED BEING PART OF A 'PRETEND FAMILY'

During the summer holidays Kyle did a photo shoot for Medmerry Park in West Sussex. He played the part of the son/grandson of a family on holiday. Kyle loved being part of the "pretend family" and was especially pleased that he had a sister for the day!

They had to do six different scenes on the shoot - having lunch, eating a picnic, playing on the beach, watching TV, swimming in the swimming pool and having a BBQ. Kyle gained a lot of confidence and had fun at the same time.

We were all made to feel very welcome by the park's owners and Kyle was treated like a little star. Kyle thoroughly enjoyed his time in front of the cameras and he has decided that he wants to be a model or actor when he grows up! The other models from Talent Management were all lovely and friendly and Kyle got on very well with them.

Lorna for Jessica, aged 7, Reference: P565196

A LOVELY PLACE

Today was all filmed and there was no audio needed, we were under the impression that it was for photographic work so it was a nice surprise for Jessica that she could play a part. She said she was a little nervous beforehand, but she soon got into the swing of things and was relaxed in no time.

She loved every minute playing the youngest child in a family having a great time in the Holiday Village, around the house, eating in the restaurant, enjoying a picnic, time on the terrace, on the beach and in the swimming pool. Great fun! Also as a result of today’s assignment at Medmerry Park I would really like to hire one of the chalets for a week, it was a really lovely quiet place to be.

It’s so much fun, playing the part or whatever is needed of you, for kids it teaches them social skills that they wouldn’t otherwise learn until they were out working in the real world. Jessica has had two other jobs with ‘Babies R Us’ and ‘Clarks’ and is now earning money for her account that can be put towards her first car or house in the future. The bottom line is if she didn’t enjoy doing it then I wouldn’t accept the job on her behalf.

I didn’t know we could view jobs and put our name forward for them so I will be doing that in the future – we are also allowed to have some footage of today’s work so I will be adding that to Jessica’s e-portfolio.

What made me join Talent Management? That’s easy – every mother thinks they have a really lovely child and I am no different! I also did modelling for ‘Lady Bird’ when I was younger and made a pretty penny doing so. I just think it’s such an experience and wonderful learning curve for them – they get to build their confidence, travel and see the world and earn money for their account doing so. One of my colleagues has joined both her two children to Talent Management off the back of my recommendation.

Maurizio for Daniela, aged 5, Reference: D511763

A TRUE STAR

Daniela really had a fantastic time and enjoyed being in front of the camera - a true star… She enjoyed getting changed in to different dresses and the face painting; she can't wait to do it again!

She was very willing to participate with the other children and was very good at acting like she was having good time as instructed. She participated well in the photo shoot and was very pleasant to the artists and chaperons involved in preparing her.

I think it is every parents dream to see their children being successful and involved in acting or modelling etc. and the best way forward is to join Talent Management. We did just that when we enrolled Daniela, not to earn a fortune but mainly for her experience and to help her get on the ladder.

Anne for Kian, aged 6, Reference: BM558396

GAIN AS MUCH EXPERIENCE AS POSSIBLE

This was a great experience and I gained more confidence with each photo shoot, I really enjoyed having my face painted and dressing up. I would recommend this to anyone starting out because you get to meet some great people and it was a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I would advise anyone thinking of starting out to join Talent Management and gain as many experiences as possible.

ENJOYED DRESSING UP

Modelling for Snazaroo was a very exciting experience, I felt a bit scared at first but everything went well. The staff there made me feel welcome and they were very nice. I enjoyed dressing up and having face painting done, but the best bit was posing for the camera. I have gained lots of confidence from this job and also learnt how to relax and have some fun at the same time. If you like modelling then you should go ahead and try it. It is good to have an agent. I have been a member for three years but not had any assignments until now – my mum said she never updated my profile though, so that is probably why. My mum signed me and my little sister up as she said we were good posers – so thank you to her and thank you Talent Management for the experience.

MY FRIENDS WANT TO JOIN IN

This was my first assignment and I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I was nervous, but at the same time excited, to be modelling for real. I would definitely do this again; I had fun with the other models and made some new friends. It was a different experience for me. The best part was having my face painted and photographed. I gained more confidence and I quickly learnt how to change into different clothes very quickly without spoiling the paint on my face. I have told all my friends about my experience and they are all very excited and wish to join in one day. I have recommended Talent Management to my friends. I will be updating my e-portfolio with pictures of my latest assignment. I joined this agency as I am ambitious and wanted to gain more experience - I hope to get more assignments in future.

A HAPPY FACE THE WHOLE TIME

Amelia really enjoyed this photo shoot, it was a great experience for her and she loved every bit of the day. The assignment set up by Talent Management was fun and the people were nice and friendly. She felt comfortable and happy all day long and has learnt a lot from this experience. I think she would recommend it to people because it is something that everyone enjoys and learns a lot from. She would definitely like to do it again. It has taught her how to be more confident with people and she didn’t feel tired or bored at all – she just had a happy face the whole time. Thanks to all the team for being so great!

Sharon for Tyler, aged 8, Reference: BA552160

HE THREW HIMSELF INTO IT!

Tyler attended a two day photo shoot in Somerset in July for Snazaroo, a client of Talent Management. This was a face painting shoot to show some new face painting designs for a remarketing exercise. The images will be used on to update the company website, marketing campaign and update product packaging.

It was a very professional set up and all the kids had a great day. The organisers made it fun but were also very organised ensuring that step by step photographs were taken so that people can see how to do the face designs.

Tyler really threw himself into this and the characters. As a boy of 8 he also loved the free food and the pampering on top of the modelling shoot.

A good time was had by all and I am sure the client will have got some great shots of the excellent designs.

A FAB DAY ON THE BEACH

Luca was a little nervous before we got there, but as soon as we met everybody he was totally at ease. He had a great time and met some nice new friends. He loved being on the river and he had a "fab" day at the beach. He would love to it again as he really enjoyed himself. The crew were fantastic - so kind and brilliant with the kids. Thank you Talent Management for letting him be a part of this. Hope for many more to come.

Sam for Myleigh, aged 6, Reference: K593952

TWO ASSIGNMENTS IN A MONTH!

This was a 3 day assignment in Cardigan Wales for Cotswold Outdoors and Myleigh's second shoot for Talent Management. This was an adventure for our daughter as we're based in Plymouth so the client provided us with accommodation and food for our stay.

Myleigh had so much fun and especially enjoyed the beach and piggy backs with her model 'mum' and 'dad'. This wasn't like a job at all - the children laughed and smiled not because they had to, but because it was the natural thing to do whilst you're having the time of your life!

The experiences she has taken from this is amazing, it certainly brought out the wilderness girl in her I didn't know existed! Myleigh flew kites, canoed, played hopscotch, and sang around a campfire... but most of all enjoyed herself and made new friends.

The decision to put Myleigh forward for Modelling is by far the best choice we have made for her. The fun and experience she is picking up along the way are sure to give her the best start in life and she is earning money at the same time. Talent Management have been very supportive of Myleigh and we thank you. Also to Molly who again put her forward and to Matt the director of Cotswold for choosing Myleigh.

Shani for Erin, aged 6, Reference: P585757

FRIENDS FOR LIFE

Erin was very excited to receive the call from Molly at Talent Management to say she had been selected for the Cotswold Outdoor photo shoot. As this was her first assignment she was a little nervous to begin with, but within an hour of being there she was made to feel totally at ease. She worked with two other child models from Talent Management - Myleigh and Luca, who she got on with really well with and are now friends for life.

The actual assignment took place in an outdoors setting for three days, which had the children in a beautiful field setting with tents, kite flying and a picnic. On the second day they were taken down by the river for canoeing, fishing and another picnic then the third day was spent on a beautiful beach where they had pictures taken of them hiking and then splashing and playing in the sea. Erin learnt a lot and has gained so much confidence from this experience. I would recommend any child who loves being in front of the camera to give modelling a go, as it certainly builds a child’s confidence and gives them a lot of enjoyment.

If anyone is serious about modelling then I would definitely recommend joining Talent Management as they have a great team and have really made my little girl happy by giving her the opportunity to be selected for this assignment. I signed up Erin as I wanted her to grow in confidence and have fun with the experiences and she is certainly having that.

Zoe for Chloe, aged 8, Reference: BM563019

EVERYONE WAS SO FRIENDLY

Chloe was so excited about her assignment with Snazaroo. She had a brilliant time and enjoyed every minute of it. Chloe loved having her face painted in stages and having the pictures being taken in between.

We would, and have, recommended Talent Management to friends - with the advice of keeping your portfolio up to date. Chloe enjoyed her self so much and everyone was so friendly. She is hoping that she gets another assignment soon! Thank you.

Antonia for Jakob, aged 4, Reference: BW627086

THOUGHT IT WAS A REAL PARTY!

Jakob had an amazing day having his face painted for the Snazaroo assignment. The theme was a children's party and Jakob actually thought it was a real party, and asked whose birthday it was!

He loved dressing up in the different outfits and posing for the photographs, and he also made a few new friends as well. The team made us feel very welcome, and were obviously very experienced in working with children.

Jakob gained even more confidence in front of the camera and is really looking forward to future assignments. He was a little disappointed that we couldn't return to the shoot again the next day as he enjoyed it so much.

We have been very proactive with checking the Talent Management jobs board and their Facebook page for updates - in fact Jakob stepped in at the very last minute on this particular job. Our advice would be keep your profile updated, and keep looking out for any jobs/ requests as you never know, you could be exactly what they are looking for.

Sam for Myleigh, aged 6, Reference: K593952

WHAT MORE COULD A GIRL WANT?!

We joined Myleigh up to Talent Management to help build her confidence and gain experience. This was Myleigh's first assignment and it was for Snazaroo, the world's largest face painting company. When we arrived Myleigh was made very welcome, which immediately put her at ease.

Her first face paint was a monkey; Myleigh had such fun jumping around and getting into character. Myleigh said the best bit was ' having the girly glittery butterfly face' and pretending to be having a girl's birthday party - they had balloons, music, pretty dresses and wonderfully painted faces...... what more could a girl possibly want?!!

Myleigh surprised me with her confidence and patience, they had so much fun and made so many new friends that the time went so fast and she didn't want to go home. She is looking forward to tomorrow when she returns to see what other characters she will be.

I recommend signing your children up to Talent Management as they learn so much from the experience. I know for certain Myleigh will remember this for the rest of her life. Thank you Talent Management and thank you Snazaroo for giving Myleigh this fantastic opportunity.
