Macmillan contacted our model bookers looking for two models for their Cancer Support photo shoot. They chose two Talent Management mature models for their assignment – Pratiba and Archie.
The Macmillan Cancer Suppot photo shoot involved models in their 50’s, 60’s and 70’s engaged in every day activities, this included preparing/cooking food, gardening and being supported by carers. Althogh anyone can be affected by cancer two thirds of people diagnosed with cancer are over 65. There is a real need to use models like Archie, who refect the ago of the majority of those who have cancer, in order to show how Macmillan can help people get on with life, despite cancer, and show the range of support we offer.
The finished shots (which you can see below) were used on Macmillan’s literature – leaflets, information packs, fundraising packs etc.
We were pleased to hear that our models had fun on he assignment as well, Archie told us: “It was really great! I had to look serious, sit around reading the Macmillan brochures etc. Everybody was very nice, friendly and helpful. Thank you for being so on the ball with all the information!”
Our 56-year-old model Pratiba also had positive comments for us: “I must say that I really enjoyed the day and had a lot of fun. People were very friendly I had to perform a variety of tasks and my shots were taken by the photographer while carrying out these tasks. All in all it was a great day and the feedback the client gave me was very good and they thought I was very photogenic.
“I would love to do this sort of modelling or any thing else available as I am always open to different and challenging things to do. So if you have any other assignments please do let me know and I would love to take them on.
Olivia Williams, Print and Production Controller at Macmillan Cancer Support, also gave us a great review: “Pratiba was excellent took well to direction. My relationship with the Talent Management coordinator, the response time and information supplied by Talent Management were all excellent too.”
