Naomi Campbell Now Casting Models For New Show The Face
Back in May, the bloggers here at Models Direct told you all that the battle of the modelling shows looked set to rage over months to come, and now the games are about to begin.
Naomi Campbell, Shine America and Oxygen (the same cable network that hosts Tyra Banks’ America’s Next Top Model) have now begun casting for The Face; a new TV modelling competition where models get the chance to work with some of the world’s most talented and successful models, including Campbell herself, of course!
Acting as a mentor to modelling hopefuls who make it onto the show, the legendary British supermodel will be responsible for “moulding, nurturing and transforming contestants”, alongside two other model mentors who are yet to be revealed.
Oxygen‘s senior VP for original programming and development said: “The Face is a fresh new series that delivers all the elements our audience craves. Oxygen has been looking for the next ideation in the modelling genre and this project delivers it.”
Campbell added: “I am looking forward to working in partnership with Oxygen and Shine America to discover the next beautiful face of the modelling world. With The Face the audience will get a real insider’s look at this exciting industry that has been so good to me. One lucky girl will become the face of a major brand.”
So, if you want to become a model or have just begun a modelling career and think you have what it takes to become the next beautiful face in the modelling world, you can head over to the Talent Management Job Board for more details about how to apply or head over to The Face Casting website and register online here.
Keep in mind, you must be at least 18 years old, 5’7” (170cm) or over, and at least one of the following in order to be eligible to participate: (a) a U.S. citizen or permanent resident; or (b) have the appropriate U.S. visa to legally participate in the series as determined by Producer.
