Having just checked out gagadaily.com for our daily dose of Gaga news, we were excited to read that details of the forthcoming Lady Gaga-inspired Glee episode have been officially announced.

The episode is named after Gaga’s latest hit song “Born This Way,” and apparently filming began earlier last week and is due to air in the US on April 19th on Fox.

According to MTV, Glee creator Ryan Murphy said: “We reached out to Lady Gaga and she said, ‘Yes, I’d love to be a part of it.’ So we will be doing Lady Gaga this season.”

Lady GaGa isn’t the only celebrity-turned-‘Gleek’ to make an appearance on the hit show; she’ll be following in the footsteps of Gwyneth Paltrow, Brittany Spears and Eve.

But out of all the cameos on the show, this one has to be our favourite so far.

Aside from the songs, Talent Management can’t wait to see what outfits Gaga will be wearing in the episode!
