Talent Management is happy for Joy McLaren, who has just been named as the UK brand ambassador for Baby G, according to reports in the ‘Professional Jeweller’ website.

Baby G said of the model: “It was clear from the off that Joy’s edgy look shone through.”

Slim McLaren has faced criticism in the past regarding her eating habits, which were questioned by fans of Britain’s Next Top Model last year, but the slim model has always insisted that she simply has a fast metabolism.

“I’ve never been happy with being this skinny, I don’t like my body. If I was an ideal size I’d be an 8 to 10, not size 6.”

The young model is said to be “thrilled to be the new brand ambassador for Baby-G”.
