Talent Management couldn’t wait to see what ‘SamCam,’ ambassador for the British Fashion Council, decided to wear for last night’s first official fashion reception at Downing Street.
The number 10 reception followed London Fashion Week’s launch at Somerset House where Samantha Cameron wore a Mulberry dress with L.K.Bennett shoes and a Sykes Jacket, and spoke enthusiastically about the fashion industry,
“People often say that fashion is one of our most important creative industries. Actually, I think they’re wrong. It is one of our most important industries, full stop.”
The PM’s wife made British designer choices at the reception, including a Christopher Kane skirt and an Emilia Wickstead top. She addressed models and designers who attended the event, promising to do all that she could “to take UK fashion even further”.
Talent Management is delighted to see Samantha Cameron supporting the industry and are looking forward to the rest of London Fashion Week!
