Gloss has pretty much dominated lips over the past decade, but no more. It seems that ever since the gorgeous French beauty model Constance Jablonski boomed on our radar with this Autumn ‘11 Estee Lauder ad, trends have been shifting.

While the sultry red lips Jablonski works so beautifully is nothing new, the matte look makes a huge impact, leaving lips looking more natural, fuller and healthy looking compared to a high-shine gloss.

Matte lips were also featured heavily on the Autumn/Winter 2011 shows, and now products are filtering into our make-up counters.
