Here at Models Direct we’ve noticed London’s ‘Winter Wonderland’ drawing celebrities from X Factor Judge Tulisa to former model Tara Palmer Tomkinson over the last couple of weeks, and it isn’t hard to see why. The Hyde Park attraction really does offer some full on festive fun to those who drop in – and it’s absolutely free entry so what’s to lose?

Some of the guys and girls from our modelling agency have been along to try out their skating skills on the Galaxy Ice Rink and they tell us they loved every minute of it! Pixie Lott has also been seen with a friend on the ice rink, as have Atomic Kitten’s Jenny Frost, her son Caspar and partner Dominic Thrupp – who had such a good time that the singer tweeted about their visit later that day: “Just had a lovely time at WinterWonderland with @activedive, @JeffroBrazier & the boys!!! So excited for Xmas now!!”

So are we! As Christmas draws nearer our models and staff are looking for festive days out that celebrate the spirit of ‘all things Christmas’ and we have been recommending that they consider a visit to Winter Wonderland .

Other than the skating rink, lively attractions include Zippos Christmas Circus, Zippos Cirque Extreme, Santa Land, the Giant Observation Wheel and various additional rides, including novelty penguin bumper cars – which proved a favourite with X Factor’s Tulisa and Amelia Lily last week.

It really seems that there is something for everyone at this event.
If the rides aren’t your thing why not visit the Angels Christmas Market? This wonderful array of over 100 stalls is, again, free to enter and the largest in London. Between them the stalls offer a beautiful selection of gift ideas, unique and traditional decorations and yummy gourmet treats to delight you and your loved ones.

Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland was voted London’s Consumer Event OF The Year last year at the Visit London awards. Organisers PWR accepted the award and have been looking forward to the event’s fifth year. We think it will be another huge success for them.
