The team here at Talent Management has always loved Tyra Banks, not only for her efforts towards modelling diversity, but also for her sheer ambition and determination to become a business mogul.

The former model, and of course host, judge and executive producer of America’s Next Top Model (ANTM), clearly knows a thing or two about the cut throat industry of modelling, so it’s unsurprising she’s delved into another media outlet and has written a book about it.

It may have taken her 5 years to conceive and write – Tyra being insanely busy with all things model-related – but at last we have a launch date for her first novel – September 13!

Aptly named Modelland, the fantasy book is the first of three in a series, and follows 15-year-old Tookie De La Crème along with her untameable hair, large forehead, and gawky body – spotting the connection anyone?!

From what we’ve heard of this book so far – which includes rumours of a beastly Catwalk Corridor and a terrifying Thigh-High Boot Camp, as well as a great cover featuring a smizing green eye – we at Talent Management can’t wait to get our hands on it…even if it is aimed at young readers!
