When we heard that 26-year-old American model Jessica White is currently creating her own skincare line, we thought it was a great business move, especially given that she’s landed campaigns for CoverGirl and Maybelline in the past.

With all that beauty and skincare experience, it goes without saying that we’re expecting great things from White’s line, which she’s calling Devise Beauty.

“Devise Beauty is my baby,” said White. “It’s for women of colour, not just African American women but Indian women, Asian women, Latinas – you name it. It’s about improving the skin and healing the skin which is basically everything I believe in anyway. Just help out self-esteem.

“I don’t believe in bleachers and bleaching the skin to give you that glow. And women of colour with darker skin, they feel like it’s impossible to achieve a glow, but with this product, it really just enhances a woman skin deep.”

The line will come out in the US in October this year. White “can’t wait for the world to see it” and neither can we!
