The model bookers here at Talent Management put a casting call out last year for Naomi Campbell’s new modelling show The Face. Finally… it is being aired in the UK!

It feels like ages since there has been a good modelling show in the UK and many of them never seem to compete with the American versions – which are full of drama and cattiness. However, when we heard that the legendary Naomi Campbell was finally bringing her new modelling show ‘The Face’ to the UK we couldn’t wait to see it!

“I want to see a different side of me,” Naomi says of her new show.

“I want people to really understand what the world of modelling is about, and how hard we work.

“Whether my model wins or not, she will have learned and we will have helped her – that’s really why I came on the show.”

The team here at Talent Management loved the first episode of this new modelling competition on Sky Living and liked the twist of the mentors having to fight for the models they want on their team and the models getting to choose – a bit like The Voice. Poor Caroline Winberg was left with the last standing models on the first show though as nearly every single model she picked chose to work with Naomi!

However, it doesn’t look like it will be plain sailing on ‘Team Naomi’ as the mentor has landed five incredibly feisty girls who are already showing signs of clashing…

Naomi told the Mail Online: ‘I’ve known Erin for a very long time, we’ve been to South Africa together. She’s always been very supportive of the charities I’ve been doing, like Fashion For Relief – and Caroline has been the same.

I’ve known Caroline a little less but I like all our personalities because we are all so different, and that’s why I think it was cool to put us together. 

‘We respect each other but we know that it’s a competition and we want to win!’

The team here at Talent Management can’t wait to see what happens over the coming weeks as these three super stylish models go head to head! We will certainly be tuning in again at 9pm tonight – will you?!
