Talent Management reports on the wannabe model who received a controversial free breast enlargement and now wants free reduction as ‘NHS made them too big’
Controversial NHS Boob Job Model Wants Free Reduction – Talent Management Reports
Some of our readers may remember a Talent Management agency blog about an aspiring glamour model that was published back in March.
In it, TM writers told the story of Josie Cunningham – a 23-year-old woman who was hoping to get into modelling after receiving breast implants on the NHS. Now she has caused further controversy by claiming that she should get a free reduction as they are ‘too big’…
When the story of her NHS implants was made public earlier in the year it outraged tax-payers – many of whom expressed the belief that this was a completely inappropriate use of their money when so many people with serious health conditions were being overlooked. One such example was two-year-old cerebral palsy sufferer Oliver Dockerty who was turned down for an operation that would allow him to walk.
Cunningham responded: “There’s a queue and we’re all in it together. If it was my child that was ill I’d move heaven and earth, like any parent, but I don’t make the rules.”
Daily Mail readers felt so strongly about the situation that they raised the money to put him through the operation themselves.
Meanwhile Cunningham had posed for the picture above and further angered the public by reportedly declaring: “I’m not bothered what people think. Now I’m happy. My new boobs have changed my life, now I want to be the new Katie Price. I want the world to see the new me and want money and fame just like Katie and my new boobs can make it all happen.
“I’ve even started to collect Louis Vuitton handbags and have ordered a chihuahua puppy. The sky’s the limit now I’ve got my new boobs — and I can’t thank the NHS enough for giving them to me.”
Less than six months later Cunningham has made a complete u-turn and now wants the NHS to give her a free breast reduction.
In an interview with Closer Magazine she explained: “People followed me in the street shouting ‘We want our money back s***’. It was so upsetting.”
“It’s ridiculous that the taxpayer paid for this surgery in the first place, especially when the NHS denies others cancer drugs and delays hip operations. Ultimately, the health budget should be spent on treating the sick, not wasted funding boob jobs purely for cosmetic reasons.”
But she has already contradicted this statement by insisting that the NHS should now fund a further breast operation because they made her boobs “too big” the first time.
“They’re making my working life difficult,” she said. “They’re so big I find them embarrassing and I don’t feel I can do any modelling because they’ve attracted so much negative attention. I’m thinking about having a reduction on the NHS.
“I don’t want to spend my life being known as ‘the girl with massive NHS boobs’, so having smaller implants is the only option! I’m looking in to charities that could help, but I think it’s down to the NHS because they made them so big.”
What do you think? Should the tax-payer fund a breast reduction for Josie Cunningham?
