Talent Management’s Disabled Model Ella Bags Job With UK’s Biggest Fleet Operator
A couple of weeks ago, the UK’s largest vehicle leasing organisation got in touch with the model bookers here at Talent Management looking for a wheelchair user to model in their upcoming lifestyle shoot.
Pretty, blonde-haired model Ella, who is one of our partially disabled wheelchair users, signed with the agency in April this year and had exactly what the client was looking for.
The Norwich-based 20-year-old is one of our uber-confident girls who has experience in acting as well as modelling, making her a perfect fit for a job that demanded lots of natural looks. “I am up for any challenge and am a confident and ambitious person. As well as modelling, I have a passion for acting, and have been doing it all my life,” she told us.
On the day of the shoot, which took place at the Vauxhall Chingford dealership, Ella was asked to model both on her own and with one of the company’s specialists in some very natural looking scenarios showing her enjoying choosing and placing an order for her car.
The shoot involved posing in casual ‘summer’ clothes and then switching to layers to demonstrate seasonality in the shots, resulting in a great selection of images that will be used on the company’s website and in their printed brochures.
Judging by the feedback from the day, it seems the assignment was a great success all round. Ella earned a healthy sum for just a few hours modelling work, and said: “I enjoyed the day’s modelling assignment and got on really well with the photographer. I simply had to view some cars and pretend to sign some papers and such, and it was a fun way to earn a bit of money! I would recommend joining a talent agency as it gives you a leg-up in the industry, and gets you one step closer to great opportunities.”
Our client’s Customer Marketing Executive also got in touch after the shoot, telling us: “Our talent booker was very friendly and efficient. The assignment went great – the model was fully briefed and turned up on time. After a few shots Ella (Talent Management model) was much more confident and we got some great photos. We would definitely use you again. I felt confident that the model was booked and briefed. As long as you continue to have disabled models on your books, we’d love to organise future shoots with you.”
We can’t wait to see the final images and will be sure to upload any we get in for everyone to have a gander, so keep checking back on the Talent Management Blog!
