Models Direct was excited to hear that presenter and famous Head & Shoulders model Emma Forbes has joined forces with her long-term celebrity stylist Gemma Sheppard to launch a new style blog.

As a guide that salutes rather than bows to fashion trends and rules, Saluting Style will include weekly fashion tips, style alerts, age-appropriate wardrobe ideas and the hottest items high street and designers items….all the things we love!

Emma and Gemma have been working together for some time and it has been this working relationship that has inspired their new venture, which is available at EmmaForbes.com.

Speaking about the blog, Emma says: “Gemma’s style advice has literally changed my life; I now understand how to dress for me. It isn’t about following fashion rules or dressing for a certain body shape, it is understanding what suits you and how to make that work every time you get dressed.

“Like all women I have made fashion mistakes; whether that’s because I have been running around after the kids, or bought an outfit in a panic or blindly followed a trend even though I didn’t know how to really wear it.

“I was lucky I found Gemma to set me straight and now with Saluting Style we are bringing Gemma’s fashion knowledge, combined with my practical experience of having actually taken this advice, to everyone.”

Gemma adds: “I’ve been lucky enough to work with lots of amazing artists and all of them completely different. With each my approach has been to find their individual style, to have fun and to help them feel great about themselves by discovering what suits them specifically.
