We’ve known that Rihanna was set to feature on her first ever American Vogue cover since January, and now, at last, it’s been revealed.

The curvy singer appears on the magazine’s 10th annual shape issue looking stunning in a sheer curve-hugging Chanel dress.

Posing against an ocean backdrop rocking post box red hair, Rihanna channels a chicer version of Disney’s The Little Mermaid.

Last April, we saw Gisele cover the magazine’s shape issue, modelling just after she’d had her baby – not that anyone would know – but this year Rihanna’s curves show a much more diverse take on the theme.

On being cast for the10th shape issue, Rihanna said: “I think it’s really important that Vogue decided to team up with me and Annie [Leibovitz] on an issue like this that promotes loving your body the way it is. All different shapes, sizes, and curves.”

So although this is only Rihanna’s first cover for American Vogue, Talent Management highly doubts it’ll be her last!
