The team at Models Direct seem to be mostly voting for the agency’s long-term favourite, the beautiful bee-stung lipped Rosie Huntington-Whiteley…let us know who you’re voting for!
Who Will You Vote As 2012’s British Style Award Winner?
Who do you think most embodies the spirit of London? Who is an international ambassador for the city as a leading creative fashion capital? The decision is in your hands. That’s right, once again, the British Fashion Council (BFC) is looking to the public to decide on the winner of the British Style Award.
2010 and 2011 saw one of Models Direct’s favourite part time models Alexa Chung take the title, but who will bag 2012’s crown?
The award, which will be presented at this year’s British Fashion Awards on the 27th November 2012, is based on the success of the London 25 Award, introduced in 2009 as part of the BFC’s 25th anniversary celebrations and awarded to Kate Moss.
The award is decided entirely by public vote and a list of nominees has been complied by a panel of key industry opinion formers.
The nominees this year include Burberry beauty Cara Delevingne, long-time male model David Gandy, singer and Vogue cover model Florence Welch, top fashion model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, young fashion-conscious rapper Tinie Tempah and style icon and designer Victoria Beckham.
Voting is now open until 31st October 2012 through the British Fashion Awards website www.britishfashionawards.com/britishstyle where voters will be entered into a prize draw to win two tickets to attend the British Fashion Awards ceremony.
The British Fashion Awards recognise the most influential people in fashion today and will celebrate the excellence in British fashion through awards such as Designer of the Year, Designer Brand, Accessory Designer, Menswear Designer and three Emerging Talent Award’s which recognise designers as they establish their fashion businesses. Other awards that will be presented on the night include Outstanding Achievement in Fashion, Model and the Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator.
To raise donations for Save The Children, the official charity of the British Fashion Awards 2012, the BFC are encouraging voters to make a donation through Save the Children’s official JustGiving webpage at www.justgiving.com/britishfashionawards. Members of the public can also donate straight from their mobile through JustTextGiving by Vodafone, by texting BFAS55 and the donation amount to 70070 e.g. text BFAS55 £5 to 70070.
