If the latest images of Brit-born David Beckham weren’t enough, Talent Management has just discovered that the footballer-turned-male model will appear in several locations in the USA for the next few days, by way of nine 10ft tall, near-naked statues! (View below)

The 37-year-old athlete has helped H&M to achieve an 11 per cent rise in total sales in the last month since being photographed modelling his new range of bodywear – created in conjunction with the fashion retailer’s designers. Now he has announced his ambition to “keep it going and establish a brand that will last many years”.

Beckham and his friends at H&M hope that the statue stunt will give today’s launch a boost before new products are added to the collection later in the year.

“I’m very happy that so far people seem to like it and the first season was incredibly successful, “ he is quoted as saying yesterday. And as a natural team player, his involvement with H&M does seem destined for further success.
