The team here at Talent Management can’t say were are all too surprised that Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber were named as the worst female and male role models for children.
In a poll that received 827 submissions from parents Miley and Justin topped the list with over 90% of votes naming them number one in the new survey by whattodowiththekids.com.
Justin was actually named the best role model for boys in 2011 and 2012 – what a difference a year has made! Tussling with the paparazzi, smoking weed, posing naked with a guitar over his ‘little Bieber’ and other bizaare transgressions have certainly took their toll.
Miley has also come a long way from her days as ‘Hannah Montana’ and her crazy twerking, bizarre behavior with a foam finger, sticky-out tongue, barely there outfits and smoking have tipped parents over the edge. Many parents said that she was going “over the top” to try to eliminate her Hanna Montana image and that her latest exploits have virtually destroyed any chance of being taken seriously as an adult.
Rihanna was voted second behind Miley for her drug smoking and half naked selfies on Instagram, and Kim Kardashian third for her Supreme self-promotional over-kill with a plethora of reality shows – too much Kim all the time.
Over in the boys corner, Kayne West came second due to enjoying joint billing with Kim, beating up the paps and proclaiming himself a god, and Chris Brown rolled in third from his brawling in bars and beating up his girlfriends.
