At 37 years old, Angelina Jolie is considered one of the world’s most beautiful women. She has starred in films such as Girl Interrupted, Wanted, the Lara Croft series – and of course Mr & Mrs Smith, where she met current husband Brad Pitt.

Clearly a natural talent, Jolie has won several awards for acting but her most valuable work has been as an humanitarian. She has drawn attention to global issues and received the Global Humanitarian Action Award for activism on behalf of refugee rights in 2005.

She is now a UN goodwill ambassador and the mother of six children including biological twins – Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, three adopted children Maddox, Pax Thien, Zahara and her first child with Brad Pitt – Shiloh.

But Jolie’s long and successful career began with these child modelling shots, taken from the age of just 14. Her trademark lips and slight frame are clearly apparent in the images which also show her confidence in front of the camera from such a young age.

Love her or hate her, it seems Jolie was always destined to become a star…
