Recreate PPQ Models’ Make-up Looks From S/S 2013 Show
Talent Management’s beauty bloggers loved the catwalk looks from PPQ’s spring/summer 2013 collection. The iconic 60’s cool toned matte lip offset with dramatic eyes was one of our favourites at London Fashion Week.
So, when we found out that we can now recreate the models‘ make-up ourselves, we were intrigued.
The looks were created by Sleek MakeUP, who have just begun a partnership with the London fashion house through a shared love of fashion-forward innovation, stand-out colour and downright drama!
The result is Shangri-La! Consisting of two i-Divines, ‘Supreme’ and ‘Respect’, and two matte lipglosses in ‘Jazz’ and ‘Soul’, the collection is inspired by classic Motown sounds and echoes a retro, urban vibe, channelling glamorous 60’s style.
The i-Divines Respect and Supreme are packed with super pigmented matte eye shadows with names that represent golden age legends, such as ‘Gladys White’ and ‘James Brown’.
A melody of rich and earthy matte shades in the Supreme i-Divine serve to represent African tribal colours and fabrics, whilst the Respect i-Divine is packed with flattering corals, pinks and on trend orange!
The iconic 60’s matte lip is brought to life with the ultra long lasting Truly Mattely Deeply lip-glosses that provide a smooth, creamy finish.
The shade Soul is a cool toned pink ideal for creating pale lips to offset dramatic eyes, Jazz is a rich retro red, perfect for an instant fix of vintage glamour.
