American plus-size fashion brand Torrid have just unveiled their latest campaign, and it’s accompanied by a message that the plus-size models here at Talent Management are loving.
The campaign’s tagline – “I am Torrid” – serves as an aspirational message to voluptuous women about their inherent beauty and sexuality.
This inspiring message goes hand-in-hand with the brand’s belief that their collections – which include fashion apparel, lingerie and accessories for young, voluptuous women who wear a US size 12 and up – stimulate self-confidence and encourage women to feel “sultry and downright irresistible”.
“Over the last year, the fashion industry has evolved to portray a more inspirational view of the plus sized woman – a move we applaud. Our new, more aspirational brand image reflects this shift and is empowering to our customers,” said Lisa Stanley, Vice President of Marketing for Torrid.
