Livewire Opera Company Looking For Young Talent To Play von Trapp Children
With our head office based in Norwich, Talent Management likes to keep up to date with what the local theatre companies get up to.
So, when we heard that Norfolk opera company Livewire is looking for young talent to join the cast for their 2013 production of The Sound of Music, we though we’d share it with all the child actors on our books.
The Wymondham-based company, who tour Opera and Operetta and believe in bringing music to the people, says this will be a great opportunity for budding child performers to play the infamous von Trapp children.
Susan Booth, Livewire’s artistic director, told the EDP: “I want to encourage as many people as possible to get in touch and come along and audition, enthusiasm is just as important if not more so than previous experience. We’ll be auditioning the adult parts later in September so anyone interested in those parts also needs to get in touch.”
Livewire’s production of The Sound of Music is set to tour around Norfolk from June 21 2013 through to July 13 2013.
Auditions will take place between August 30 and September 1 at Parkside School, Norwich, and are open to children over the age of 5.
