Pink-Haired Model Showcases Olivia Rubin’s Collection For Dorothy Perkins
Following news of H&M’s collaboration with Maison Martin Margiela, Talent Management was equally excited to find out about Dorothy Perkins’ new collaboration with London-based designer Olivia Rubin.
The collection, entitled ‘A Postcard From’ and modelled by a stunning pink-haired beauty, showcases her signature print designs on a range of dresses, separates and accessories.
Inspired by the memories of her travels, evoking a mood of summer fun, the colour palette combines soft neutral shades of grey with hints of pastels, alongside Olivia’s classic bright pink hues.
Distinctive prints include soft blush coloured shells that are featured on an array of jersey, a bold coral design on beach bags and bikinis, as well as tropical bird prints which look fun and bright on chiffon maxi dresses.
Commenting on her collaboration, Olivia said: “I’m so excited to be working with Dorothy Perkins and bring my designs to the high street. The collection focuses on strong yet simple silhouettes, as I always design feminine shapes with an original take, in order to create a versatile piece that can become a wardrobe staple. Also I have introduced jewellery and swimwear to the range, which will be the first time I have added accessories to one of my collections.”
This original and colourful collaboration showcases Olivia’s design talent, with many of her signature shapes, as seen on popular female celebrities, appearing throughout the range. With prices starting from £7.50 for gold shell earrings, through to £35 for a coral print jersey wrap dress, there is no excuse not to make the SS12 Olivia Rubin London for Dorothy Perkins your number one fashion choice this season.
