Child Model Neva Raises Funds For Supermodel Mum Natalia Vodianova’s Charity
Over the last few months the Talent Management blog has featured several stories about the many child models with famous relatives who have been breaking into the world of modelling lately. Apparently the fashion world just cannot get enough of child and baby models!
Recently, to name a few, we have seen Miranda Kerr and baby Flynn covering Who
magazine; Gisele Bündchen’s niece become the face of Brandili Mundi; Cindy Crawford’s daughter Kaia shoot her first campaign with Versace; and Harper Beckham receive a personal email offering her a contract with My 1st Years. Now supermodel Natalia Vodianova’s six-year-old daughter Neva is the latest celeb child model to appear in a campaign, but we have to admit that this story is a bit of a favourite for us…
This is not the first time that Neva has modelled. She covered French Vogue as a baby model with her mother Natalia in October 2006, appeared in a Condé Nast advertisement – again with mum – aged just one, and in November 2008 she modelled for American Vogue with her mum, dad and brother. Now the pretty blonde child model has appeared in her first solo shoot for Caramel Baby and Child wearing a cute red cashmere dress which was reportedly designed specifically for a charity set up by Natalia Vodianova herself, called The Naked Heart Foundation.
According to reports in the Telegraph, Neva’s mother collaborated with the brand to create the dress she has been photographed in, which was inspired by the supermodel’s childhood memories of Russia. Proceeds from the sale of the item are said to be going to the charity.
The Naked Heart Foundation provides recreational facilities, financial assistance and even help with medical care for underprivileged Russian children, and since 2006 has built an impressive 39 playgrounds for children who previously had nowhere safe to play. On the website The Naked Heart Foundation states that its mission is: “To provide a safe and inspiring environment in which to play for every child living in urban Russia.” Talent Management wishes them the very best with sales of this dress and all their future endeavours.
If you are interested in purchasing this charity dress you may be interested to know that it comes in adult sizes too! It will go on sale in Caramel Baby and Child stores and selected Department stores worldwide at the end of June.
