Yesterday, Talent Management stumbled across a charming film for Wren’s A/W ’12 collection starring 15-year-old fashion writer Tavi Gevinson.

Having been a budding journalist since she was just 11, we wanted to know a little more about how Tavi came to venture into modelling and how she found the experience.

Luckily for us, Fashionista recently interviewed the multi-talented young teen and asked her about the most fun and most challenging parts to featuring in Wren’s endearingly creepy fashion film.

“The most fun part was just the general environment,” Tavi told the American fashion blog.

“We shot it at the greatest house, all wind chimes and hanging rugs, and it was maybe the only day of the year that Los Angeles was rainy, which made it feel like Harold and Maude, and we were playing Cat Stevens and Bob Dylan and Fleetwood Mac while we got ready. All of this was especially nice because I was with people who just wanted to create something wonderful and have a good time together.

“The most challenging part was going outside and trying to look somewhat graceful in the cold!” she added.

Fashionista went on to highlight the fact that Tavi is putting herself in the spotlight lately – with her singing performance during fashion week and recent modelling job with Uniqlo – and asked the blogging prodigy whether she’s interested in building a career in modelling, acting or singing.

“When it comes to these kinds of projects I just take it as it comes and see what shows up in my inbox and think about what would be fun and interesting,” she replied.

“I judge them individually and try not to think about what, collectively, it means for my ‘image’ or whatever. I like acting and singing and don’t really mind modelling and, in the right contexts, would probably like to do more in the future.”
