Talent Management Models Bag Job For Renewable Technologies At Ecobuild Exhibition
Last month, eco-friendly company Renewable Technologies came to modelling agency Talent Management seeking models for its latest high profile event – Ecobuild 2012 at ExCeL London.
The firm, a leading provider of affordable, renewable and sustainable energy, needed to book promotional models to work on their stand at the 3-day exhibition, which claims to be the world’s biggest event for sustainable design, construction and the built environment.
With a brief outlining the need for two professional-looking natural beauties, who are as equally pretty and expressive as they are confident and experienced, Talent Management’s model booking team got to work putting together a selection.
Of the group of models put forward, 28-year-old Esther and 33-year-old Jessica, both from London, fit the ‘professional natural beauty’ bill perfectly.
Once the Talent Management team double checked our models’ availability, they were both booked for the job and shortly after received a detailed briefing about what to expect.
Esther and Jessica were then asked to send over their exact measurements, as Renewable Technologies requested our models wear their embroidered logo shirts, helping to further showcase the brand at the event. All the girls had to bring was a pencil skirt and smart shoes to finish off the professional look.
Esther, who earned herself £450, told us what she was asked to do throughout the three-day modelling job: “The assignment involved meeting and greeting all guests that came to the stand, as well as getting them refreshments and passing on any of their enquiries to the correct person in the Renewable Technologies Team. The other main part of the assignment was to scan each person’s badge that made contact with the stand – so that Renewable Technologies could store these details at the end of the day, for potential future business opportunities.”
Our clearly business-savvy model then went on to tell us about the experience of modelling at such a busy, high-profile event: “I was not particularly nervous before hand, as I have a good bit of experience of working at these types of events as a hostess/model. It is something that I would do again as the atmosphere was a good one as well, as the Excel exhibition centre was busy and therefore you always had something to do. The Renewable Technologies employees that my colleague and I were working with on the three days were extremely welcoming and treated us both really well, making us feel part of their team.
“I have taken away a positive experience from this assignment and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Talent Management modelling agency. I look forward to my next assignment.”
Our other model, Jessica, also told us how much she enjoyed the job: “I met some really great people and it was interesting finding out more about sustainable energy.
“The assignment involved welcoming prospective customers to the stall and logging their details for entry into a data base via electronic scanners. We had a lot of fun ‘zapping’ people with our scanners! I would recommend the experience to others as an enjoyable way to make a bit of extra money and it’s also a good way to meet other people working in similar fields, whether it’s modelling, acting or the Arts.”
The team at Talent Management is happy that our models had such a great experience – and at the same time got paid so well for it! Well done girls, let’s hope there’s a re-book for Ecobuild 2013!
