Strictly Come Dancing’s Ola Jordan Models New Lingerie Collection
Leading UK Modelling agency Models Direct has just seen pictures of Ola Jordan modelling a pretty new lingerie range from Boux Avenue. The 29-year-old dancer looks gorgeous in the images that showcase bright and pastel coloured feminine underwear – including balconette and push up bras, shorts and thongs.
Ola Jordan – wife to Strictly dancer James Jordan – is reported to have been exploring other options since she was dropped from the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour earlier in the year. Cue Dragon’s Den star Theo Paphitis who – in a typically shrewd move – quickly signed her up as a lingerie Model, and the new face and body, for his very successful Boux Avenue brand.
Boux Avenue is said to have sold well over 250,000 bras since its launch last year and has what have been described as “aggressive expansion plans” in 2012 – which are rumoured to include branching out overseas. The company already has stores in Manchester, Cardiff, Sheffield, Birmingham, Kent, Essex and Glasgow, to name a few, and another is soon due to open at Chapelfield Mall, Norwich – which staff at our head office are particularly excited about!
Paphitis is reported to have claimed that his new venture is proving a real force to be reckoned with for rival lingerie brands and we are positive that this link with Ola Jordan will only serve to boost sales further. She is quoted in the Daily Mail as being “thrilled” about her new modelling role, saying: “I am absolutely thrilled to have been asked to get involved. I have never done anything like this before and I’m really excited to have such an amazing opportunity to work with a company like Boux Avenue.” Adding: “My costumes on Strictly can be revealing, but lingerie is a whole new avenue for me to explore.”
Dancers notoriously need supportive lingerie when training and we were unsure as to whether or not pretty, feminine pieces like this could possibly stand up to the job. However, Ola has reassured consumers with similar needs by confirming: “It’s really important to have a bra that provides the utmost support during training, and Boux Avenue bras fit so well that they feel like a second skin.”
Well, if it works for Ola we are more than happy to give the range a try. The new items are now available on the Boux Avenue website (www.bouxavenue.com) and Boux Avenue stores across the nation.
