Romeo Dunn Models Naked For Charity
Romeo Dunn sent pulses racing at modelling agency Models Direct last week when a naked picture of the So Solid Crew star surfaced in the office – but he won us over completely when we realised that it was all in aid of cancer charity ‘Everyman’.
This is the 11th year that Cosmopolitan has joined forces with Everyman to feature male centrefolds modelling in the buff in an effort to attract attention to the charity’s cause and raise awareness of prostate and testicular cancer.
By agreeing to feature nude in Cosmopolitan magazine Dunn has joined the likes of Lenny Kravitz, Roger Moore, Ewan McGregor, Rupert Everett, Graham Norton, Jason Donovan, Eminem, Teddy Sheringham, Jack Osbourne, Ian Wright, Ronan Keating, Matt Dawson and David James. But the 31-year-old comes across as endearingly modest about his appearance: “I’m not that confident, I’m just a normal guy with an average body, but I’m blessed in other ways.” He told Cosmopolitan, before adding bashfully: “Not like that – I mean spiritually!”
When the Daily Mail shared Dunn’s naked picture female fans responded to it as enthusiastically as one might expect. Kelbel from London wrote: “Wow, Romeo’s looking hot to Trot, he can come again anytime and promote this serious issue! Well Done, and next time do some more pics.”
She is possibly one of many who’ll be delighted at Dunn’s claim that, despite his reputation for being ‘smooth’ with the ladies, it takes nothing more than a little kindness to be considered a model woman in his eyes: “It’s not hard to take my breath away, I find generosity and thoughtfulness so sexy in a woman. It doesn’t have to be anything extravagant; I’m grateful for the smallest things – even just making me a cup of tea!”
Before you rush off to put the kettle on take another moment to consider the message behind Dunn’s attention grabbing appearance in Cosmopolitan for Everyman. The cancer charity’s website reminds visitors: “Prostate and testicular cancers affect almost 39,000 men each year in the UK. Everyman is an appeal by The Institute of Cancer Research to raise money for research into these diseases. By supporting Everyman, you’re helping fund the world-leading work of scientists at the ICR.”
