Last week, the bloggers here at Talent Management told you all about model Ruby Aldridge and how she has begun to explore a hidden talent, singing in her band, which is tentatively called ‘Texture’.

Now, we’ve just found out that fellow model Miranda Kerr also has a secret singing talent and Vogue are suggesting that a music career “wouldn’t be outside the realms of reason”. When asked directly, however, Kerr remained very coy about the prospect and wouldn’t even outline track titles or genre. “I have recorded a couple of songs, actually, that no one knows about!” Kerr told British Vogue.

“You probably won’t hear them but I love to sing! I’m doing so much at the moment, modelling obviously, I have Kora Organics, my books, and my family, so I have quite a lot to focus on for the time being!”

Modelling is undoubtedly the gateway drug of the entertainment industry. Time and time again, we’ve seen models venture into different talent opportunities that have opened up thanks to their successful modelling careers. Let’s hope Kerr following in Aldridge’s footsteps once her busy modelling career calms down a bit.
