Never mind like mother, like daughter, this is a case of like auntie, like niece. World-famous Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen’s five-year-old niece looks set to become the next big thing on the modelling scene, despite being just five years old.

According to Forbes, Duda Bündchen, the daughter of Gisele’s sister, has been booked as the face of Brazilian children’s clothing company Brandili Mundi.

Not only that, but having been chosen as Brandili Mundi’s spokesmodel last year – a contract that’s been extended due to its success – she’s now set to design a line for the brand.

As a talent agency that’s been running for over 20 years, we’ve of course come across plenty of toddler models, but toddler designers, that’s a new one even for us! And, unlike some models-turned-designers, whose name simply fronts a collection, Duda is actually getting involved in the design process.

Germano Costa, commercial and marketing director of Brandili Textil, Brandili Mundi’s parent company, told Forbes: “She told us about her preferences on prints, cuts and details, and based on the briefing we received from her we came up with a collaborative collection.

“The pieces were all approved by Duda, whose romantic inspiration will no doubt catch girls’ eyes.”
