Who says you have to be peachy-faced teen to model? We at Talent Management certainly don’t and it seems Lindex don’t either. Earlier this week, the Swedish brand announced that 39 year old actress Gwyneth Paltrow is fronting their upcoming spring campaign ‘Modern Preppy’.

According to the Lindex blog, the campaign was inspired by the sporty, relaxed lifestyle synonymous with preppy hotspots on America’s East Coast, such as Long Island and the Hamptons, updated with a distinct Scandinavian touch – making ice-blonde stunner Paltrow the obvious choice.

“When Gwyneth isn’t wearing elegant gowns on the red carpet, her style preference is stripes and ‘casual chic’. The decision to use her as Lindex’s model was an easy one, since she is practically synonymous with the Modern Preppy look,” the company’s bloggers said.

This isn’t the first time the talented actor, singer and fashion icon has bagged a big modelling job – past campaigns include those for Estee Lauder, Korean fashion brand Bean Pole International, and more recently she’s modelled a range of spring looks for online fashion retailer Net-a-Porter.

Talent Management loves seeing age diversity on the modelling scene, and at nearly 40 years old, Paltrow looks better than most of the teen models out there!
