You may think Chanel goes with toddlers like chalk does with cheese, but not when Karl Largerfeld in is charge. Back in 2010, at Chanel’s S/S ’11 show, Largerfeld featured a then 2-year-old Hudson Koenig on the catwalk along with his dad, long-term male model Brad Kroenig.
3-Year-Old Child Model Steals Limelight At Chanel Show
You may think Chanel goes with toddlers like chalk does with cheese, but not when Karl Largerfeld in is charge. Back in 2010, at Chanel’s S/S ’11 show, Largerfeld featured a then 2-year-old Hudson Koenig on the catwalk along with his dad, long-term male model Brad Kroenig.
And of course little Hudson wasn’t the first child model to work the Chanel catwalk – remember back in 1991 when Amber Le Bon made her modelling debut at just 20 months carried by her model mother, Yasmin?
Well, it seems that just as Amber’s Chanel debut was the start of a high-end modelling career, Hudson’s catwalk appearance was also just the beginning.
Earlier this week, a now 3 year old Hudson once again stole the Chanel limelight when he starred in the fashion house’s Autumn/Winter 2012-13 Ready-To-Wear show in Paris.
Despite walking alongside modelling heavyweights Miranda Kerr, Stella Tennant and Cara Delevingne, all eyes – Talent Management’s included – were on the mini model extraordinaire who carried his own miniature Chanel bag!
The team here at the agency can’t help but love Hudson’s super cute appearance on the catwalk, but we have been wondering…is this move just the ever-rebellious Largerfeld making a statement about the resonating controversy surrounding underage models?
Statement or not, we still want to see more of the toddler’s modelling efforts! What do you think?
