Since the announcement that openly gay comedian Ellen DeGeneres is the new face of JCPenney, there’s been an outpour of support. Unfortunately, as Talent Management reported last week, there’s also been a few critics showing blatant signs of homophobia.

Well, we were happy to see that this week DeGeneres has addressed them head-on in this funny yet inspiring monologue.

As a pro-diversity modelling agency, we fully support DeGeneres’ appointment at the brand and are glad JC Penney has stuck to their guns!
