10 year old child model Kaia Gerber, Cindy Crawford and Randy Gerber’s daughter, recently bagged herself the Young Versace campaign.

But the team at modelling agency Talent Management have been wondering, will Kaia continue her modelling career into her adulthood and follow in the footsteps of her supermodel mother?

Well, according to what we’ve recently heard Crawford saying, it seems a life behind the lens may be on the horizon. But, judging by what the 10 year old has been saying, perhaps she’s in for a shock if she does choose to embark on a full blown modelling career.

“At this point, she’s too young to pursue a career,” Crawford told The Daily on her daughter’s modelling prospects. “But if she’s 17 and wants to try it… of course, what can I say? She kind of jokingly said – I’m not even sure if it was jokingly – ‘I might model first because you don’t have to know how to do anything, but then I want to be a baby nurse’.”

Oh how naive she is, you’d think her supermodel mother might bestow a few words of wisdom on the disillusioned kid?

Still, there’s hope for her yet, Donatella Versace is confident Kaia has the same modelling talents as her mother: “Like her mother, Kaia has a very special gift. The camera really, really loves her.

“It was such a special treat watching Kaia walk in her mother’s footsteps!”
