Canadian fashion model Coco Rocha has been causing a stir in the modelling industry of late campaigning for improvements in model safety.

Earlier in the week we saw a snap shot of the humanitarian model getting passionate during a talk about eating disorders & the need for workplace protections for models, and now we’ve just found this little clip of her appearing as a guest on Anderson Cooper’s  daytime show.

Along with fellow guest model Carré Otis, Rocha spoke about being turned down for a modelling job last year for being “too big”. She told Cooper that in a modelling career you can never please everyone; being too big for some and too small for others is a model’s reality.

The models also discussed being thrown into the harsh realities of modelling too young. Rocha was scouted at 14 and left her parents’ house to live in a New York model house at just 16.
