Having been checking out the catwalk show from this year’s winner of the annual Fashion Fringe new talent contest – Fyodor Golan – we noticed none other than mature model Valerie Pain on the runway!

The London Fashion Week show, which showcased Fyodor Podgorny and Golan Frydman’s feminine and edgy spring collection, saw the 70-year-old model, who you may recognise from the All Walks Beyond The Catwalk campaign, strutting her stuff alongside younger, more classic models.

Pain recently told All Walks campaigner Michael Williamson that when she attended the casting for Fyodor Golan and caught sight of the samples, she told the casting agent: “I’m not going to waste your time, they won’t fit me.”

However, the designing duo, known for being unique, stubborn, and following their gut feelings, were so impressed by the model that they redesigned an outfit, fitting it to Pain’s exact body shape, just so that she could walk for them!
