This Sunday the new series of The Only Way Is Essex kicks off – but can you all remember what happened at the end of series 2?

TOWIE welcomed a new cast member – male model Rob Mead.

The 5′ 11″ hazel eyed brunette looked set to be Lydia’s new love interest when he arrived as her date at Mark’s pool party. But did Lydia continue to date the Brentwood-based 24-year-old after the final episode?

Whether Lydia chose to make a go of it with the model or go back to Arg, we at Models Direct are hoping he’ll be back for series 3 either way. Considering that the model, and club promoter, has worked for Esquire, Men’s Health and Wallpaper since he got signed by a UK modelling agency, we think this model is one to keep an eye on.

“I’m so lucky I’ve been working with amazing clients like Men’s Health, Wallpaper, Esquire, Men’s Fitness and Braun. I’ve travelled all over the place too which is great,” he said.

Mead even walked the catwalk at Essex Fashion Week recently: “Walking down the catwalk and representing Essex where I’m from was great, its all a bit tongue in cheek but we had a great day and the clothes were fantastic, and I got to hang out with all my friends and the cast of TOWIE at the party afterwards.”
