Last month, we let you know about M&S’ unique child modelling competition, ‘Do Your Thing’.
If you didn’t enter your child, then unfortunately it’s too late, as this week M&S announced the four talented winners who will become faces of the Autumn/Winter 2011 kidswear campaign.
Judged by M&S and famed photographer Rankin, the competition looked to celebrate the diversity of kids’ passions and demonstrate individuality through a one minute video.
So, after being impressed by over 600 video submissions, the judges chose winners Ella Greensmith, aged 7, for her art and drawing skills; Sean Turner, aged 11, for his violin talent; Danielle Harrison, aged 11, for her ice skating performance; and Jack Griffiths, aged 12, for his karate display.
Karl Doyle, M&S Director of Kidswear said: “We are delighted with the fantastic response to the competition. We were extremely impressed with the mixture of talents and passions of all the kids that entered, and we are looking forward to working with Rankin next season to show our exciting, on trend, high fashion kidswear ranges on our uniquely talented winners.”
We can’t wait to see how Rankin will shoot this campaign and how the talented winners will take to modelling.
