Supermodel Art Up For Auction
Dubbed “The Face of 1966”, British supermodel Twiggy has lent her artistic flare to a new project called HareStyling, which benefits the Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Twiggy and other celebrities were asked to create a unique piece of art centred around a hare to raise funds for the hospital.
She’s joining fashion designer Stella McCartney, who created ‘Gold Hare’ made of studs with gold studded background; artist Tracey Emin, whose signed ‘A Kiss to a Hare’ mixed media piece is predictably proving very popular, and Mr Brainwash, whose 2ft sq hare with spray painted stencils and pop art inspired images is currently at an amazing £3000 bid.
Twiggy, however, who put her unique spin on the project, gave her hare her signature 60s lashes and decorated it with pastel hearts. Named ‘Hare with Hearts’, the signed A4 piece is currently going for £385.
So if you’ve been on the look out for a unique piece art, then look no further and support Harestyling by getting your bids in here…or should that be hare! The money raised will help fund two new operating theatres at the hospital.
