Talent Management has just found out that one of the world’s most successful models Claudia Schiffer will be judging this year’s Fashion Fringe prize, along with other top industry panellists.

“I have watched Fashion Fringe grow from strength to strength over the past few years, and am delighted to be able to add my support this year,” Schiffer told Vogue.co.uk.

“Fashion Fringe is a fantastic business platform for any aspiring designer, and I look forward to helping some of London’s creative design talent thrive and grow over the coming months,” she added.

The German supermodel will chose the winner, 3 finalists and 10 semi-finalists, along with a panel of judges that cover key areas of fashion – Design, Press, Buying, Industry and Technical – including Roland Mouret, Selfridges MD Anne Pitcher, and Dean of London College of Fashion Graduate School, Roy Peach.

Judging by last the success of last year’s winner, Corrie Nielsen, who recently made her solo show debut at London Fashion Week, the fight for top place this year will be tough.

Applications are now open until May 4th.
