Talent Management Loves ASOS’ Fashion Twitter App
We at Talent Management have just become even bigger fans of ASOS now that we’ve discovered their new Fashion Twitter App, which brings together fashionistas like our models here with real-time fashion updates.
The new Twitter application, asosfollowsfashion.com, aggregates the latest tweets from the fashion industry’s most influential insiders, and is categorised into sections including ‘The Brands’, ‘The Bloggers’ and ‘The A-List’.
Having checked it out, our models here at Talent Management have said that by combining tweets, they can now get a comprehensive outlook on the news and views of the most respected tweeters in fashion…and all in one place!
What’s more, our models have the chance to agree or disagree with ASOS’ choices, suggest new ones, or even talk directly to tweeters by clicking on the link under their tweets.
Commenting on the application, James Hart, eCommerce Director at ASOS.com, said: “We’ve been chatting to our customers through social media for a few years now but our ASOS colleagues also follow and interact with some of fashion’s greatest through Twitter.
“With asosfollowsfashion.com, we get to share this passion. It’s a simple tool with a simple goal really; to connect fashion-loving people with real time news and views from the best of the fashion world.”
James Haycock, MD of AdaptiveLab, the company that built the application, said: “[ASOS’] open approach to including competitors on the site demonstrates that they really understand the role their brand can play when it comes to social interaction, as this application positions them as a useful resource that will have continued relevance.”
