At just 16 years old, Lindsey Wixson could teach models in their 40s a thing or two about keeping a level head amidst a world wind of success.
Wixson’s quirky look, with her bee-stung pout and dimpled chin, is quickly propelling her to fashion’s ultimate model of the moment.
But it seems the teen model – who, since her runway debut in the Cynthia Steffe show at New York Fashion Week, has opened the Spring 2010 Prada show and fronted campaigns for Miu Miu, Versace, Mulberry and Alexander McQueen to name a few – is taking everything in her stride and understands the true meaning of success.
Wixson recently told WWD: “Real success is not, like, materialistic. It’s being where you want to be when you want to be; just living your life how you feel; having an ultimate goal and being able to accomplish it. For me right now, success will be getting a GED.”
Ever since beginning her career as a model in 2009, the team here has admired Wixon for her look, and now we can admire her for her great outlook on life too.
Keep up the good work Lindsey – we think you’re a fantastic role model for all the teen models on our books!
